Polyflat

Among the new products that have recently become part of the Plastic-Puglia range, a prominent role deserves Polyflat, layflat pipe made of single-layer polyethylene and reinforced with polyester mesh that is ideal for irrigation systems and more generally for water transportation. Polyflat is an especially pressure-resistant layflat pipe even though it is about 30 percent lighter than PVC layflat. It is made of virgin polyethylene, 100% nontoxic and can be recycled. It is an ideal solution for temporary connections or in the construction of pipelines that need continuous movement. It has excellent resistance to weathering and corrosion, has great stretch resistance when subjected to pressure, and is resistant to twisting and snake effect. Compatible with a wide range of fittings, provided with indelible marking every meter, it is a product made with technologically advanced manufacturing processes and is recommended for main lines and branch lines for drip hoses. Polyflat is available in different diameters from 1″ ¼ to 6″ and for operating pressures 4 and 6 bar.
