- Perform regular checks on the system to avoid leaks and blockages:
- Install a filter system upstream of the system to reduce dirt, debris and clogging problems.
- Checking piping: Ensure that drip wings, pipes, and fittings are intact and leak-free. Start a flushing sequence when recommended.
- Checking drippers: Verifies that each dripper is working properly.
- Filter maintenance: Clean the filter regularly to prevent blockages and ensure steady water flow.
- Check the flow rate and pressure of the main manifold.
- Check the operation of the main valves at the head and in the field, making sure that the pressure values match the hydraulic design pressure values.
